Steinhatchee is located in Taylor County near the mouth of the Steinhatchee River approximately 40 miles South of Perry.
This small town is historically known for its forestry, fishing, crabbing and scalloping. Over the years, The Annual Fiddler Crab Festival takes place each February where visitors experience local cuisine, art and craft vendors, car shows, concerts, fishing tournaments, and other entertainment.
